Ever since I can remember I've had a passion for textiles. Being a designer and involved in print and production, it's not surprising that I'm so drawn to any kind of print on paper or fabric. Printing by hand is a time consuming skill and one that fascinates me. Experience is the training. Since the launch of our organic jersey fabrics Scandinavia Collection, I've been looking around for more stretch fabric sewing patterns. There's a good selection of independent pattern designers here, all with PDF links. These are what I tend to use for my sewing, but most are also available as paper copies. This bag! Oversized and over awesome! This is a birthday present for my sister-in-law (a little late) but hopefully the fact that I've made this for her will make up for that! I've made a few Merchant and Mills sewing patterns, they're always so simple and elegant. Finally got around to my latest Autumn make using this lush Flaming'Oh Sweatshirt fabric. This high quality cotton jersey fabric has a great weight to it and feels amazing to wear, made and printed in France, these pink feathers are really quite special.
