Saaaa Saaa Rondo Double Gauze Cotton by Kokka

We always welcome fabrics with strange names at Faberwood and what better than this stylish and contemporary fabric imported from Japan. It's art on a textile! Designed by Nani Iro for Kokka, this 'double gauze' features two layers of fabric joined together by little pin stitches. Such a fabulous feel to this fabric, it has an amazingly soft texture going on, These cotton gauzes are getting ever harder to obtain, so we are really pleased to be able to offer this one. I particularly love the design, it reminds me of a painting done in pastels, producing a fantastic 'messy' stripe. Officially it's blue and brown but these shades together resemble an all over purply tone. I could see this fabric being made in to any item of clothing - plus it's always a bonus when the selvedge of a fabric is as great as the design itself! A pre wash at 30 is highly recommended before sewing with this fabric.
