Another wonderful blend of linen and cotton from my favourite Japanese brand, ready for summer 2025. Hokkoh produce some really interesting prints and always use fabulous colour ways. I think this design has that perfect edge to it, I love the black geometric-ish bold pattern with the touches of pretty painted petals in a dusky vintage pink. My daughter mentioned it looks like cherry blossom, which I can also see.
The linen and cotton texture gives this a wonderful drape, making it ideal for creating relaxed summer dresses and skirts. The cotton content adds a slight earthiness. The beige base is really lovely and has a slight hessian tone. I also think would make a super cool holiday 'vacation' shirt.
