A stunning display of botanical goodness from the Japanese brand Hokkoh. A delicate fine wale cotton corduroy that is lightweight with an exquisite floral design expertly printed in Japan. All the colours in this are a hit for me, subdued but the black background makes the gorgeous shades shine. I was immediately sold by that rusty tone when I discovered this one.
It has a lovely light structure that feels fine and velvety. It would be perfect for dress and shirt making. This fabric would also work well for a top that includes nice little details, it is not your chunky cord, just elegant. Picking out the colours would be fun, you could combine solid fabric such as a twill or satin to make a really exciting outfit. Alternatively, go 'all out' and make a statement item making the most of this fabulously luscious print.
I must add that the Hokkoh prints are very limited in supply, so I do advise to not hang around too long!
