Forever feeding my obsession with a floral design on a dark background, we bring you a gorgeous fabric by Kokka Echino of Japan. The pretty flowers are white and grey scattered over a black base. Double gauze is formed by two lightweight fabrics that are pin stitched together creating a distinct lofty feel, it is airy and light making it suitable for Spring and Summer sewing. I also love the purple selvedge on one side which would be lovely to add a trim or something.
You can make clothing such as shirts, blouses, skirts and dresses. I will be reaching for some styles in my Japanese sewing books as we speak!
