Amazing and unusual hand-block printed fabric imported from India that's made from milk! On first appearances, this feels like a viscose with its fine drape and softness. There are so many positives to this textile; the milk fibre contains amino acids so is kind to the skin with antibacterial properties, environmentally friendly and meets the Eko-tex standard green certificate. It is produced using waste where a protein called casein is extracted from the discarded parts of milk during production. It is then dried and treated so it can be woven into yarn. This 'floppy' fabric has a dense smooth texture with little square detailing woven through the yarns, it is also durable and strong. 

A fabric that oozes Summer, in this coastal blue, I can see flowing dresses and scarves, or you have a gorgeously soft sarong in an instant! I'm not going to any far-flung sunny destinations this year but I will feel like I'm on the shores with this!
