Crepe Viscose ‘Marocaine Jardin’ by La Maison Naïve

Another delicious addition from La Maison Naïve of France. Their whole process, from design to production is done in France. Everything about this brand oozes quality. In their own words 'Harmonious universe with timeless and modern notes' captures it perfectly. Their designs do not follow trends, they have a refreshing, timeless beauty. 

The soothing colour palette is glorious. It was created using La Maison's own exclusive in house colour chart. I think it shows the designs have been well thought through. The elegant print is clearly made with stylish clothing in mind, it's the complete package.

A premium viscose crepe, with a little texture and a heavier weight than their Prairie Laurier crepe, it's still floaty but has a bit more going on in the handle. The floral pattern, I think, has a retro-chic vibe, slightly muted tones that keep things soft but still with a bit of punch! 

By itself, this would make a stunning pair of statement pleated trousers or a dress, just add a pair of brown boots! There is also a perfectly matching friend available, a peach finish Olive Gabardine. Here you can enjoy the best sewing and matching experience. 

Everything about this brand sums up all the things I look for in a fabric. It is interesting, thought provoking and definitely not ordinary. This is fabric that inspires me to get making.
