Ogden Cami made in African hand dyed indigo cotton

Another successful Spain make for this year, the Odgen Cami by True Bias in our African Indigo Cotton. This top was just perfect for the intense heat, feels really floaty and very nice to wear. As this hand dyed fabric comes in quite a narrow width I didn't cut enough from the bolt so I improvised and pieced it together flipping the design around and forming a seam down the middle - a detail I quite liked in the end. I didn't need to make any other adjustments, the fit was simply perfect on me which is a surprise for this style on my slightly short frame. I would not wear something like this that much at home, has quite a low back, but it felt right here on this kite surfing beach!

This fabric takes a bit of care when washing as it's all natural indigo used in the dying process, quite a bit of blue! I love this fabric, reminds me of my mid twenties of a visit to Thailand, that hippy vibe never dates for me. I wish I'd made more of these, bring on next Summer!
