Léger Comme Plume Cotton Percale by Aime Comme Marie

The thing I like the most about Aime Comme Marie is her amazing use of colour. Her fabrics are just so special! It’s a happy day now that we have these feathers in again, so delicate and simple but just stylish as hell. This lovely lightweight cotton percale fabric, feels really soft and natural. The colour (I can tell you I’ve had fun getting this right on screen!) is a classic khaki green with a ever so subtle hint of greyness, does that make sense? The name translates to ‘Light as a Feather’, the deign is just that, the black and delicate feathers are printed in France using Oeko certified inks. This fabric would be perfect for a shirt due to it’s ‘floatiness’ not quite as light as a cambric, think of those posh sheets that have a satin type texture and you'll be close!
