Bringing another wonderful double gauze to our collection for Summer by Kokka Echino. Double gauze has a wonderful airy feel consisting of two layers of light voile pin stitched together. It has quite a relaxed feel perfect for most styles of clothing, working well for achieving volume on even the most simple designs. A simply beautiful fabric with a fresh and timeless edge to it, I love the vertical abstract stripes which have a block print look about them, and nice wearable neutral tones.
I've made a few things in double gauze it is easy to sew with and softens even more with wear. For this fabric, I'm considering a dress from Nani Iro Sewing Studio book.
