Brown Yarn Dyed Cotton Flannel from Japan

We are always on the lookout for great flannel, plaid is a firm favourite at Faberwood. We've stocked many of the American Mammoth flannels over the years, but this is an exquisite Japanese lighter-weight flannel. Brushed on one side it has a cozy lived-in feel, ready to be made into tops, shirts, or our choice - a beautiful dress. The brown is a lush chocolate shade contrasting nicely with the rust orange check and just a hint of sage green. All lovely, mellow tones. 

A soft and fluid medium-weight cotton with a smooth reverse side displaying the woven yarns, also has a tendency to crease a little making it feel all the more casual and relaxed. I think this would carry quite well across the seasons, made into garments to wear all year round. Something like a woven tee would be interesting in this with a rib neck contrast trim. Or maybe rustic style gathered dresses worn with trainers and boots and of course, it's perfect for making shirts.
