A Gilbert top made in Japanese Hokkoh Brushed Flowers
I've not featured a customer make on the blog for a while and I absolutely adore this shirt made by Teri a fabulous Faberwood customer. Teri has used our Hokkoh Brushed Flowers fabric to make the Gilbert top by Helen's Closet. I'd already been thinking this fabric would be great for a shirt, so when Teri posted these photos I was immediately star struck, I felt like she had read my mind! The attention to detail, how the label is sewn inside, is simply gorgeous and unique, this is definitely a top to treasure.
I spend a lot of time carefully sourcing interesting fabric for Faberwood and to see an outcome like this makes me very happy. This fabric has been a popular choice in the shop, the unusual print has gone down really well. I was desperate show this one off and a big thank you to Teri for sharing these lovely photos with me. Now I want to go and make one exactly like this.
