Cosy hoodie made using PaaPii sweatshirt fabric of Finland
Finally I got round to doing these photographs of my recent make the SBCC Brooklyn Hoodie. I used this Finnish brand PaaPii sweatshirting from our current Faberwood collection.
This organic jersey has such a luxurious feel to it, is super soft and a joy to wear! You can really tell that this is an exceptional quality fabric. I love the way you can mix the triangle design around, here I contrasted it on the pockets. My own addition was to line the hood in some plain black contrasting jersey as I didn't want the inner seams on show. This sewing pattern is quite easy to put together the hardest bit was keeping the pockets lined up while inserting the zip. It comes with two length options, I wanted quite a slouchy fit and I chose the longer length also adding an inch to the arms, I prefer sleeves to come over my hands a little.
I did sew this on my serger but it's possible to sew on a regular sewing machine. I think I'll be wearing this all year round!
