A really special and interesting cotton cord imported from Japan. Featuring a subtle plaid check design, perfect for Autumn sewing! Defined as baby 'wale' cord, it is so fine it feels quite delicate and soft. I think there's a touch of retro with these warming browns and the rust overtones, the natural light lifts out the beautiful hues. Every time I receive a Japanese fabric I'm in awe of the precision and textile design perfection.

This is our first cord fabric! Hokkoh is more commonly known for their wonderful modern, stylish prints, I searched deep to find this. A really refreshing alternative plaid done so stylishly by this exquisite Japanese brand. With a good, yet still soft structure, you could create great clothing like shirts, tops, trousers, or a light jacket.
